MEET THE FOUNDER: ISABELLE RACE
Pottery has been a part of my life since high school, when I first stepped into a local studio on a student night. Even as I pursued a career in civil engineering, clay remained a grounding force. After years of dreaming and creating on the side, I’m planting roots in East Nashville with Slip Ceramics—a community pottery studio for learning, making, and sharing..
When I’m not at the wheel, you’ll usually find me outdoors with my fiancé and our two dogs—Burger and Bean. We love exploring Tennessee’s trails and spend as much time as we can backpacking. I’m also passionate about staying connected to the community and enjoy participating in local events, markets, and creative gatherings around Nashville.
